Does the “Me Too” Movement Affect the Books you buy?

What does an author (current or not) have to do before you would not/could not/dare not buy the author’s books? Would it also extend to political books like Hitler’s Mein Kampf?  Read how one potential buyer did not buy a book because she did not want to receive the benefit of the book seller’s opinion.

  1. An interesting point, I’m can’t think of a book that I haven’t bought because of what the author has done. That isn’t to say that I wouldn’t boycott something if I felt strongly about it. I do think it’s right that if we considered all the lifestyles and attitudes of some of the so-called ‘great’ writers, there may be many ‘classics’ that wouldn’t be read.
