Reblog: Merriam-Webster’s Liar, Liar Quiz

Merriam-Webster’s Liar, Liar Quiz is designed to “test your knowledge of words for lies, liars, and those being lied to. In other words, everyone.”

I’d be a lying sack of S**t if I said I did well on this quiz.   I got 4 out of 11 which still put me inthe top 50%.  You’d think in our current political climate, I would be better at words regarding liars.

  1. Gosh, knowing these fancy word-meanings and lying are two very different things. We lie every day in some way. Popular lie: “How are you doing?” A: “Fine, thanks.” People do this even when they’re very ill. Marriage saver: “Does this dress make me look fat?” A: “Not at all!”
