The traditional feast is turkey, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts and pumpkin pie for dessert. A lot like Christmas dinner, actually. I call October through December “turkey season.” We’ve been advised by health officials to limit our Thanksgiving dinners to immediate family members because of the pandemic. I think most have done that, but Thanksgiving isn’t as big a holiday here as in the US. We had ham instead of turkey, with brussels sprouts, though, as per tradition.
A wonderful day wished for our neighbors. Thanks, Pat!

Agreed. Thanks for reminding us. I think we take our wonderful northern neighbors way too much for granted.

Our pleasure, Audrey. How are you planning to celebrate? Is there a traditional meal for this holiday in Canada?

Thanks for the info, Audrey. Sounds very similar to ours, except that you do not mention cranberries.
