I did horribly! Less than half right. I only knew word origins that were connected with places I’ve lived or people I’ve known.

I did ok and better than most people (when I look at the average score), but it was lucky. I knew karaoke from television and mumuu was easy. The rest were guesses–some educated, many not. Thanks for taking the quiz and commenting.

I tied you with 7 of 12, some decent and some bad guessing.

Nice, Crystal. I had a mix of decent and bad guessing also, plus a very few I actually knew.

Heh. I should stop second-guessing myself. I got 7/12 and dope-slapped myself for changing a couple that I should have known at the last second. There are some great words in this one. Thanks!

Sam score with the same inclination for a palm slap.

7/12 but I’m happy with it! It was difficult 🙂

Thnk that’s what I did and when I looked at the score, we did better than average.

I got 10/12. Surprised myself, since many were semi-educated guesses. I missed “rampage” and (stupid me!) “miniature.” I waffled between Italian and French on that one and guessed wrong.

7/12. But the only ones I legitimately knew were karaoke and parka. The rest were lucky guesses!

Good score. I knew karaoke, parka, and muumuu.

I know I sometimes overthink things that seem too obvious or simple.

When I took it a few days ago (last week? I dunno. Time has no meaning!) I had a dismal score. 6 maybe? But I glad that I retained some of what I learned. Tonight 10/12.
