It can pose a danger, but with so much misinformation around, it can also depend upon what you read. Some people read conspiracy theory stuff like a starving man at a smorgasboard.
Wilfull ignorance–a growing community health crisis. I read one blog just to see what’s out there because it accumulates stuff I would never bother to seek out myself. (And no, it ‘s not your blog, cheeky grin.)
I did and people do read (or is that misread) what they want to read. Your blogs are well written and would be hard to misinterpret, but may have found some that do so.

People have their own ideas on what a reliable, accurate source is. I think the disagreement is wider than Fox vs. MSNBC. Or even Fox newscasters vs. Fox pundits.
