Pearl Habor, 7 December 1941–80th Anniversary

One of the lesser-known memorials at the Pearl Habor site is a copy of a poem that First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt carried in her purse during the war.

Dear Lord,
 
Lest I continue
My complacent way,
Help me to remember
Somehow out there
A man died for me today.
As long as there be war,
I then must
Ask and answer
Am I worth dying for?
