You bring the peanut butter I'll bring the jelly What kind would you like would you please tell me? Peach is delicious strawberry too Or would grape jelly taste better to you? White bread, rye, whole grain or wheat What type of bread would enhance the treat? Back in the day white bread was the one grape jelly and peanut butter It was that choice or none.

I discovered the great treat, peanut-butter-grape jelly late in life and now I adore it with a passion!

It has to be with grape jelly!

Thanks for letting me know, I was wondering if you did jelly or marmalade.

It has to be the very original, not some strawberry imposter! Marmalade?!!
Why spoil what is perfect!

PB&J is a personal preference–smooth or chunky peanut butter?

Chunky peanut butter on whole wheat. Grape jelly is pretty far down my list of favorites, but not as far as mint jelly. ๐ And jams (blackberry?) are better than jellies overall.

I like strawberry or peach jelly but will eat grape. Chunky peanut butter on whole wheat is wonderful. I’m not too fond of peanut butter that separates in the jar–I can never get it back to a good consistency and I am much less fond of the taste. Did you see the comments about your blog post this morning?

Wonderful. I might recommend milk rather than a wine, although a light rose might work. ๐

I’ve never liked peanut butter but loved jelly – but not in a sandwich. Now if you said it was a glass of wine and a bag of peanuts day I’d be right up for it ๐

When we visit some wineries, we will order a can of peanuts if that is an option. They go well together. Bet they are good with a pint of you like ๐ป.

I drink more wine than beer these days but the trouble is peanuts make you drink more whatever your tipple is

It’s good with or without the peanut butter, and toasting the bread makes it even better!

I defer to your superior experience with this combo.

I prefer the bread (any kind of whole grain) toasted, and I’m with Becky with the marmalade + PB. Or raspberry jam.

I’m guessing it is like our egg salad sandwich
Excellent choice. I also like cheese and heirloom tomatoes ๐ in a sandwich with mayo.

I loved, loved, LOVED my dad’s homemade currant jelly back in the day. I’d put a thin layer of peanut butter on both sides of the sandwich so the jelly wouldn’t make the bread soggy, then seal the edges so the jelly wouldn’t leak out when I packed it in a lunch bag.
