I never heard that he was. I don’t think it was discovered until recently since it was on the inside of a safe door. He was transferred from one division to the post office, after passing his postal clerk exam. He says he found several ghosts passing through the post office, including a Japanese workman in a blue hardhat and boots. (The Midway was stationed in Japan for several years as the first forward-deployed aircraft carrier.) Thanks for commenting.
