The season of Purple still flourishes in the Church Yard
We did not any purple lilacs, grape hyacinth or irises
Some spring flowers
drape themselves in the
colors of royalty,
accepting homage
from insects

I do love the purples and blues of spring Pat. Where we are right now, the cherry trees and magnolias are in full flower and the azaleas are blooming in all hues. Happy Earth Day. Allan

Thanks, Andrea. I was trying to find the season after Lent and that was when I made the connection to all of our purple flowers in the Churchyard.

Beautiful, I think the lilacs should be blooming soon. Maybe they are. I have to check our area.

Although I have not seen any lilacs blooming where I live, I did see some lovely purple lilacs blooming when I drove down to Southwest Virginia last week. I love the smell of lilacs. Thanks for mentioning lilacs, Monica.
